Young Adults, and an Adventure

I started off my day with some sculpting. I knew that it was going to be a busy, and birthday filled few days ahead of me. I put all my attention into this big block of ice, hoping to get the finished product out well before anyone woke up.
And I did! I had made a bust, which sold immediately. It was of our former president Gabraham Rinkon. Apparently his great great great nephew was fascinated by him, and bought the bust in order to honor him. I thought it was sweet, though I knew the statue would melt fairly soon.
I also had time to make a small painting,
and build this display table before it was time for birthdays. I decided to place a money tree seed on the table, just in case.
First up was Lukas. He aged into a gorgeous young adult, and had the traits insane, disciplined, artistic, party animal, and eccentric. His lifetime wish was to become a Martial Arts Master.
Landon was next (He woke up after Lukas, even though he was born first). He too, is handsome, and looks a lot like his father Matthias. His traits are loves the outdoors, eccentric, schmoozer, artistic, and mooch. He wants to be a Paranormal Profiteer.
Ahleanna aged into a beautiful teenager. Her sleek, long, black hair was stunning on her.
Marialla also was beautiful. She wore her hair in a pony tail over her shoulder, and wore a nice red lip. She was stunning.
And last but not least, Aviella. She wore her hair in a clip, so that it wasnt in her face 24/7. She was beautiful nonetheless.
After all the birthdays, both boys got jobs, and moved into their own place. Marialla then cleaned the counter, and the rest of the house.
I then decided to make some waffles before I put my plan into action.
Since the house was full of teenage girls, and no toddlers or babies, I figured I would take the girls on a nice trip. We went to Egypt!
This was our base camp, although I doubted that we would spend too much time here. We would sleep 2 in a tent, and shower and eat when necessary. The rest of the time, we would spend on adventures.
When we first got there, I ran off to thank our travel agent for the lovely trip, and left the girls to explore for a while. I knew the didn't want to do EVERYTHING with me, even though it was a mother's day weekend vacation.
The girls talked over what they should do first, and decided that they would explore a tomb.
There was one right near base camp called The Tomb of Discovery. The girls were extremely excited, and made their way into the tomb.
Ahleanna found a chest, and opened it. There were some nice goodies inside, along with an interesting shaped keystone.
Marialla stood on the foot stone, and used her weight as best as she could to open the door. It worked! They moved on to the next chamber.
They all worked together to push this statue over to where it needed to be in order to go to the next chamber, and were thrilled when it worked!
Ahleanna opened the last of the secret passage ways, and they found their way out. They were so excited and ran to the market to tell me all about it, and try the foreign food.
Aviella even took a swim in the beautiful fountain they had in the market place.
I tried out their version of shrimp cocktail, and it was absolutely delicious.
While Aviella had falaffel, and Ahleanna had some wings. We all went back to base camp and headed to bed.
In the morning, I warmed myself up next to the fire pit, before heading off to the Pyramid of Burning Sands with my girls.
We ran up the sandy mountain, and made it inside with ease. My girls were true adventurers.
Marialla stuck her hand in a creepy looking hole, and flipped a switch, allowing us to continue on our journey.
But along the way, disaster struck. Aviella walked right onto one of the booby traps, and was lit on fire! We immediately began spraying her out with our portable fire extinguishers which we carry on us at all times.
She was ok, but a bit singed. she decided to go home to have a shower, and allowed us to continue our trek through the Pyramid.
We found many chests full of gold, and gathered as much as we could...
When suddenly a mummy appeared! I screamed to my girls to get out, and we ran as fast as our legs could carry us. Thankfully no one got into a fight with the mummy, or got the mummy's curse.
Sadly, it was time to head home. I spent my last night in Egypt roasting potatoes and tomatoes over the fire. Much better than marshmallows, I thought to myself.
